Greater Galilee Baptist Church, Charlotte
with Rev. Dr. Kia Hood-Scott
Imagine you’ve been wondering if God might be nudging you toward ministry. Something stirs when a woman preaches—and it won’t leave you alone.
Now imagine not just sitting in the pew, but sitting across the table at lunch, asking, How did you know? What was your first sermon like? How do you handle the hard parts? Is this life sustainable?
That’s Sisterhood of the Traveling Ministers.
We gather women who are sensing a call—or simply curious—go hear a woman preach, and then share a meal. We listen, we notice what’s stirring in us, and we ask honest questions about calling, preaching, church politics, community, and caring for your soul.
Because sometimes you don’t need another podcast. You need proximity. You need to see someone doing it and hear, “Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it’s holy. Yes, you can do this.”
No pressure. No pitch. Just space to listen, ask, and discern.
If you’ve been feeling that nudge—join us!
